It&#039;s not about feeling deprived as you know (because that will just lead to abandonment of the diet or eating plan), but feeling how your body responds to different foods and way of eating...and then picking the one you feel gives you the best energy and results without compromising health.

Mark - I let all comments stand if they have a constructive point good or bad. I also have to go through and delete 100s of spam comments a day. Please tell me what you dislike lately and then I can respond properly, just saying you don&#039;t like the site lately without explaining what it is specifically serves no real constructive purpose (other than just spam-bitching for the sake of doing it, which is why the other comment was removed because it came across that way). I&#039;m all ears for feedback, I&#039;m not going to put up with random negativity with no point that is so common on the internet....as we all have better stuff to read about and I hold my site to higher standards personally for my readers and what they are exposed to. Keep it constructive and to the point and I have no issues with it as you don&#039;t have to like or agree with everything here, but you do have to contribute beyond non-specific complaining if you expect it to stay around. I don&#039;t keep spammers around.

PS - If anyone is having issues accessing the site/submitting comments (like I am), the server it is hosted on has been having bandwidth/access issues since this weekend....something I am trying to expedite to get resolved but unfortunately not under my control.</description>

For what it&#039;s worth, and I haven&#039;t logged it anywhere but here, second day properly on the &quot;Fast-5&quot; timing with 19 hours fast and 5 hours of eating... hunger was totally manageable and, again, less than normal if I&#039;d eaten sugary/starchy foods, which would have totally made me hungrier during the day.

Then I ate a large healthy Paleo-like meal for supper and I&#039;m asking myself, do I really want to eat again during these 5 hours or should I go hardcore and make it truly one meal a day?

I&#039;ll probably eat again. And remind myself it&#039;s okay if I don&#039;t at some point in the future.

Energy level? Average. Yesterday was very energetic, but today average. However, mind was clear and mood good on both days.

As part of my program of &quot;declarations&quot; (like affirmations, but less present-tense orientated and a bit more future-intention), I&#039;m writing them out longhand in my journal in the morning... I guess I could record energy levels their too... but I won&#039;t for now.
