MDAkid - I thought the women of Malibu petitioned that is was against the law for him to have his shirt on!

Dingas - Sleep is important but our bodies can adapt to many things. The biggest question would be how would a day or 2 of sleep changes effect the rest of your week and sleep...that would be the most important factor. One or 2 days up late I am sure your body can adapt and handle, but if it messes up your sleep for 4-5 days a week consistently...well then you will have to see what happens as some may be able to handle it, others may not (typically the younger you are, the more you can handle it)

Jamccain - interesting article, thanks. Hunger is definitely a motivator...to go hunt for food, unfortunately with food so close by all the time and no effort involved...that evolutionary signal has gotten all messed up. But yes, many people see improved moods with IF/CR as it has to do with more SNS activation, although too much can lead to anxiety and other issues....so of course one needs to be aware when they need to be eating for good moods.</description>

I&#039;ve got a question regarding sleep. As you say in the post, every once in a while everybody stays up all night or goes to bed a lot later comparing to what&#039;s normal. What&#039;s the impact in your health of staying up late once in a while, like partying or working out late.

The reason I ask it&#039;s because of a job opportunity. It&#039;s on weekends only but it&#039;s by shifts. And some weekends It&#039;s going to be from 0am till 8am.

I have a tendency to be a night owl that I&#039;m trying to fight. Don&#039;t want to become a an early riser but do want to wake up at a decent time.

In the caveman philosophy it makes sense that every once in a while we had to stay up all night for survival, I think.
