Hi Mike,

Check out Love your blog. As a runner, I was hoping to get your take on our newly launched site, www.luckychic.com, we are a flash sales site for fitness, health and wellness.

We have a triathalete on our buying team, so we frequently have running gear on sale.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

I hear you. I've spent probably $1000s over the decades on magazines, books, supplements and everything else...all to realize that most of it was really simple.

Good post and some very sage advice, with your permission I'd like to
print this in my latest newsletter to our fitness club members.

I like the rationale behind the breakfast not being the most important meal
Yep I'm guilty of preaching this I do think however giving people bite size chunks of easy to understand tidbits (such as breakfast is the most important meal)is far easier than going into things that they may not be ready to "digest" no pun intended.

And getting people to eat something early in the morning may just help alter their eating habits later on when "going for the carbs" generally unhealthy sort is what they will most likely tend to do.I've also read that small amounts of protein early in the morning help with mental acuity. What are your thoughts on this?

Warmly
Kim

Eleni,

As a fellow sugar addict and coffee lover, I have had success in still enjoying coffee and finding it a little sweet by substituting coconut milk for cream, and dropping the sugar. It's got good fats, a mild sweetness, and mixes really well with coffee.

My two cents!
